VIDEO: Resisted R arm upper/L arm lower respiratory reach
This is a video demonstrating a great breath activity which balances out left and right diaphragmatic position and function as well as making the breathwork more active. Arms are unlocked, left arm is roughly at sternal height and right arm is more overhead with band around the back at mid-thoracic level. Inhale with left arm reach, exhale with right arm reach, pause, swallow, slowly re-inhale while repeating the sequence. Encourage little adjustments (wriggle into place) head, neck, trunk, pelvis, etc. periodically as the tissue and joint positions change with the air movement.
